Reconstruction and conversion of a former Head Post Office building in Rijeka
For the purpose of foundation remediation of a former Head Post Office building in the center of Rijeka, a main geotechnical design was made.
For the aforementioned geotechnical design, we have conducted geotehnical exploration and investigation works consisting of explorational drilling and excavation, engineering-geological mapping of the terrain and laboratory testing.
New foundation structure, as well as remediation of existing foundation structure, was executed with jet grouting columns.
Because of the geometry complexity of the existing foundation structure and complexity of the entire remediation design, the main geotechnical design was made in BIM technology.
