Project documentation preparation for geotechnical structures remediation
Instabilities of geotechnical structures (structures constructed in the soil foundation, from the soil foundation or loaded with soil) occasionally appear on the constructed sections of highways and cannot be successfully repaired during the regular maintenance of the highway.
In order to make traffic safe, it is necessary to prepare project documentation for remediation which will enable permanent stability of geotechnical structures. Under the annual contract between Hrvatske autoceste d.o.o. and the joint venture between Geoekspert d.o.o. and Geotech d.o.o. it was agreed to prepare project documentation for the geotechnical structures remediation.
The project documentation refers to the following geotechnical structures on the sections of the highway: cuts, embankments, concrete retaining structures, reinforced soil and portal slopes of the tunnel.
The project documentation includes geodetic survey of the location, field prospecting of the location where the instability of the geotechnical structure was determined, the detailed design for the geotechnical structure remediation and detailed geotechnical structures remediation design, as well as engineering supervision over the geotechnical structure design.
