Geotech at the Days of the Croatian Chamber of Civil Engineers in Opatija 2023
In the beautiful Ambasador Hotel in Opatija, from June 15 to June 17, 2023, the 17th Days of the Croatian Chamber of Civil Engineers were held.
This event has already become traditional, and it is recognized as an excellent opportunity for experts of different profiles from the field of construction to get together and exchange ideas and experiences. The Days include a rich program of seminars and round tables for almost all specialist branches of construction, regulation and project management. Annual KOLOS awards were given for the best realized projects, special contribution to the Chamber and contribution to the construction industry.
This prestigious event provided us with an excellent opportunity to present our services, professional knowledge and innovative solutions. Our showroom became a favorite destination of experts and visitors who wanted to learn more about our company and our areas of expertise.
Geotech’s stand was carefully designed to give visitors a clear insight into our expertise and innovation as well as to showcase our brand. Promotional material, brochures, video presentations and demonstrations of our projects were available to anyone who wanted to know more about our work. Our team of experts was present throughout the event, always ready to answer questions, provide expert advice and share their knowledge with the visitors.
The drilling machine of the company Rijekaprojekt geotehničko istraživanje d. o. o., placed in front of the Ambasador Hotel, attracted a lot of attention from visitors. Many people were interested in the machine we use during exploration drilling and had the opportunity to see its functionality and efficiency.
On the first day of the event, our director Mirko Grošić, Ph.D., gave a presentation titled “Temporary Open Pit Protection in Rock Mass”. The topic aroused great interest among the participants, and Dr. Grošić shared his rich experience and expertise with those present. The presentation was interesting, encouraging discussion and exchange of ideas among fellow civil engineers. The interest and positive feedback of all present during the three days of the event only further confirmed the value of our company, our professional knowledge and our approach.
The Days of the Croatian Chamber of Civil Engineers were an excellent opportunity for networking and creating new business connections. We met many colleagues from the industry and established useful contacts for future cooperation. Exchanging experiences with other experts opened up new perspectives and inspired us for further development of our company.
In addition to professional activities, the event was also an opportunity to socialize and relax. The evening programs, gala dinner and informal meetings allowed us to connect with other event participants outside the business environment.
We are looking forward to the next Days of the Croatian Chamber of Civil Engineers and the opportunity to participate in this important event again. We look forward to new meetings, further exchange of ideas and further improvement of our profession.
