Croatian railroads
A rockfall protection design of the DG-Buzet-Pazin-Pula R101 railroad, a remediation design of the Rječina cutting on the M202 Zagreb GK – Rijeka and of cuttings on the M502 Rijeka – Šapjane-DG railroad was made for the company HŽ Infrastruktura d.o.o. Railroad protection was achieved with the installation of rockfall protection barriers, shotcrete, rod anchors and by foresting. Provided measures for cuttings remediation included a remediation of existing rock walls, construction of reinforced concrete counterforts and fillings, installation of reinforced shotcrete and rod anchors, drains and wire and bearing nets.
