Hydrogeology
Hydrogeology is a branch of applied geology that studies groundwater — its regime, quantity, movement, and physical as well as chemical properties within the geological environment.
We specialize in conducting hydrogeological investigations across various geological settings — from lowland areas with intergranular porosity to karst terrain with secondary fracture porosity.
Hydrogeological investigation services:
Field investigations:
- the hydrogeological mapping of a site;
- determining rock and soil types and their hydrogeological properties;
- exploratory drilling and permeability testing (trial pits, boreholes);
- pumping tests;
- groundwater flow tracing; and
- groundwater level monitoring with data loggers.
In-office work:
- the analysis of existing documentation and background materials;
- the interpretation of field investigation results;
- the preparation of hydrogeological reports and designs; and
- the preparation of graphical appendices.
Our solutions are based on a scientific approach, many years of experience, and the application of modern investigative methods.
